At a Wednesday meeting, the presidents of the Interfraternity Council, Panhellenic Council and the Multicultural Greek Council unanimously voted on outcomes of the self-imposed moratorium which began Dec. 12.

After Feb. 27, if a Greek chapter has completed the outcomes it can reinstate social events containing alcohol.

The Greek life leaders decided on four outcomes.

Each Greek chapter will conduct a meeting with the Fraternity and Sorority Life Office reviewing the statistics and results of the Dyad Strategy Survey, a survey about Greek student experience distributed to chapters nationally. The chapters must have 90 percent membership in attendance.

Each chapter must host a  meeting regarding sexual assault bystander intervention with 75 percent of the chapter in attendance.

Each Greek chapter must have a meeting, with 75 percent of member attendance, focusing on alcohol, hazing, sexual assault or mental health and mental illness.

All three Greek life councils will create a risk management plan. The plan must include no hard alcohol at social events during the spring semester and an amnesty policy for each Greek chapter’s risk management officer and the Greek Life Office.

If a chapter has not completed the four stipulations, they will reside under moratorium guidelines. Chapters will forfeit social events with alcohol until the outcomes are completed.
